Silver Meadow Digital LLC (“Silver Meadow,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates cozywithher.com and the pages on that website that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information when you visit or use the Site, contact us, join a waitlist or mailing list, or otherwise interact with us in connection with the Site.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that we control through the Site and through our direct communications with you. It does not apply to third-party websites, apps, membership platforms, payment services, donation services, AI or chat services, community platforms, or social media platforms that may be linked from, embedded in, or used alongside the Site, except to the extent we separately receive and control limited information from those services. Those third parties have their own privacy policies and terms, and we encourage you to review them before using their services.

1. Adults Only

The Site is intended only for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 18.

If you believe that a minor has provided personal information to us through the Site, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete that information as required or appropriate.

We do not knowingly request or collect government-issued identification, age-verification documents, or similar identity records through general Site forms or ordinary email. If age verification, account creation, purchases, community access, or chat access are handled through third-party platforms, those platforms may collect and process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

2. Who We Are

For purposes of applicable data protection law, Silver Meadow Digital LLC is the business or controller responsible for personal information covered by this Privacy Policy.

3. Personal Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you interact with the Site and with us.

A. Information you provide directly

We may collect information you choose to provide to us, such as:

  • your name, email address, username, display name, or other contact details;

  • the contents of messages, support requests, waitlist submissions, contact-form entries, or other communications you send to us;

  • marketing preferences or mailing-list preferences, if those features are offered;

  • survey responses, feedback, testimonials, or other information you voluntarily submit;

  • limited membership, account-status, support, or transaction-related information we may receive when a third-party platform notifies us about your subscription status, access status, support issue, cancellation, renewal, or similar account event.

B. Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we or our service providers may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • IP address;

  • approximate location inferred from IP address;

  • browser type, device type, operating system, language, and similar technical information;

  • referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, timestamps, and similar usage information;

  • session activity, error logs, security logs, and diagnostic information;

  • cookie identifiers, local storage data, analytics events, and similar online identifiers.

C. Information we receive from third parties

We may receive limited information from third-party service providers and platforms that support or are connected to the Site, such as website hosting providers, analytics providers, membership or access platforms, payment or donation providers, AI/chat providers, messaging or community providers, link platforms, and social media services.

Examples of the limited information we may receive from those services include usernames, display names, membership tier or access status, renewal or cancellation status, transaction confirmations, and support-related details.

D. Information we generally do not ask you to send through the Site

Please do not send full payment card numbers, government-issued ID numbers, biometric data, precise geolocation, or other highly sensitive personal information to us through general Site forms or ordinary email unless we specifically request it.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • operate, maintain, secure, monitor, and troubleshoot the Site;

  • understand traffic, engagement, and Site performance;

  • improve the Site, content, and user experience;

  • respond to inquiries, support requests, and other communications;

  • manage waitlists, mailing lists, newsletters, and other communications you request or consent to receive;

  • administer access, support, or account-related issues when you use linked third-party services;

  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our terms or policies;

  • comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, property, users, and business of the Company and others;

  • enforce our Terms of Service and other policies;

  • support corporate transactions such as financing, restructuring, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, similar technologies, and analytics tools to support Site functionality, security, performance measurement, and user preferences.

Depending on the services enabled on the Site, we may use analytics tools provided by our website platform or by a third-party analytics provider. These tools may collect information such as browser and device details, pages visited, approximate location, referring pages, and interactions with the Site.

Where required by law, we will request consent before placing or activating non-essential cookies or similar technologies. If a cookie banner or cookie settings tool is available on the Site, you may use it to manage your choices. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling certain cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.

If the Site includes embedded content, outbound links, or integrations with third-party services, those third parties may separately collect technical or online activity information under their own privacy policies.

6. Third-Party Platforms, Payments, Donations, and AI/Chat Services

The Site may function in part as a landing page, discovery page, or routing point to third-party membership, payment, donation, AI/chat, messaging, community, or social platforms.

If you purchase a membership, make a donation, access community features, use AI/chat features, or interact with content on a third-party platform, that platform will process your personal information under its own privacy policy and terms. We do not control those third-party platforms’ privacy, security, billing, moderation, or data-retention practices.

We do not receive full payment card numbers through the Site. Payments, memberships, donations, and similar transactions are handled by third-party services. We may receive only limited information back from those services, such as account status, transaction confirmations, membership or access status, usernames, or support details.

If you interact with AI/chat or community features hosted by third-party platforms, the content of those interactions and related metadata may be visible to and retained by those third-party providers under their own policies. This Privacy Policy does not govern those third-party providers’ processing of that information.

7. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • vendors and service providers that help us host, operate, secure, analyze, maintain, or support the Site and related communications;

  • email, waitlist, customer-support, or communications service providers, if we use them;

  • third-party platforms you choose to use in connection with the Site or our brand, such as membership, payment, donation, AI/chat, messaging, or community platforms;

  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal counsel;

  • law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of the Site;

  • a buyer, investor, lender, successor, or other party involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information for money through the Site.

Based on our current Site setup, we do not knowingly use the Site to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any additional notices, rights mechanisms, or controls required by applicable law.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for different periods depending on the type of information and the reason we collected it.

In general:

  • Contact, waitlist, newsletter, and marketing information may be kept until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, or request deletion, and for a reasonable period afterward to maintain suppression lists, resolve disputes, comply with law, and keep business records.

  • Communications and support records may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, manage follow-up issues, enforce our policies, and maintain ordinary business records.

  • Technical logs, security records, cookie data, and analytics data may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, analytics, and Site administration, or until they are deleted, expired, aggregated, or de-identified under our settings or provider settings.

  • Limited information received from third-party membership, payment, donation, or support platforms may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer access, respond to support issues, keep tax or business records, comply with law, and protect our rights.

We do not retain personal information for longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or otherwise disclosed at collection, subject to legal, tax, accounting, security, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping requirements.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to request access to personal information, request correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, request portability, or lodge a complaint with a regulator or supervisory authority.

You may also have choices about:

  • Marketing emails: You can unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe link in the message, if available, or by contacting us.

  • Cookies and analytics: You can manage cookies through any cookie settings tool made available on the Site and through your browser settings.

  • Direct communications: You can request that we stop non-essential direct communications by contacting us.

To exercise privacy rights, contact us at hello@cozywithher.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We may deny or limit requests where permitted by law.

Where allowed by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may also ask you to verify your identity directly with us.

11. California Privacy Notice

This section is intended to provide additional transparency to California residents and to describe our current online privacy practices in a California-style format.

Categories of personal information collected

In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information through the Site or through our direct communications with you:

  • Identifiers, such as email address, IP address, username, display name, and similar identifiers;

  • Customer records or contact information, such as the contact details and information you provide in forms, waitlists, or messages;

  • Commercial information, such as limited subscription, access-status, support, or transaction-confirmation information we may receive from third-party platforms;

  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as browsing activity, session activity, cookie identifiers, referral information, and interactions with the Site;

  • Geolocation data, such as approximate location inferred from IP address;

  • Electronic communications and similar information, such as the contents of messages, inquiries, or submissions you send to us.

Sources of personal information

We collect personal information:

  • directly from you;

  • automatically from your browser or device when you use the Site;

  • from service providers and third-party platforms connected to the Site or used in connection with our brand.

Purposes for collection and use

We collect and use personal information for the purposes described in Section 4 above, including operating the Site, communications, support, analytics, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and business administration.

Disclosures for business purposes

We may disclose the categories of personal information listed above to the categories of recipients described in Section 7 for business purposes, including hosting providers, analytics providers, communications providers, support providers, membership or access platforms, payment or donation providers, AI/chat or community providers, and professional advisers.

Sales and sharing

We do not sell personal information for money through the Site.

Based on our current Site setup, we do not knowingly sell or share personal information through the Site for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Sensitive personal information

We do not knowingly use or disclose sensitive personal information through the Site for purposes that would require us to offer a separate California right to limit under applicable law.

California rights

If applicable California privacy law applies to our processing, California residents may have the right to:

  • know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about them;

  • request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions;

  • request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about them;

  • opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, if we engage in those activities;

  • not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.

California residents may submit requests by emailing hello@cozywithher.com. We may verify requests by matching the information provided in the request with information we already maintain or by asking for additional information reasonably necessary to verify identity and authority.

Authorized agents may submit requests on a California resident’s behalf where permitted by law. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may also require the consumer to verify their identity directly with us.

Because we do not currently use the Site to knowingly sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not currently offer a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link for the Site. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any additional rights mechanisms or opt-out controls required by law. Where applicable California law requires us to process qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, we will do so as required by law.

12. UK / EEA Privacy Information

If you are in the UK or EEA and applicable data protection law applies to our processing of your personal data, we process personal data under one or more lawful bases depending on the context. These may include:

  • your consent, including where consent is required for non-essential cookies or optional marketing;

  • performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract;

  • compliance with legal obligations;

  • our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and administering the Site, communicating with users, enforcing our terms, and protecting the business.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

13. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and personal information may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live.

Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal data.

14. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, embedded content, social media pages, or other services. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of those third parties.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on the Site and update the “Last Updated” date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
